Sometimes, you get bored with your 41-room, 25,000-square-foot mansion, and you need to move out after less than a year. That’s a natural and normal feeling if you’re Scrooge McDuck or possibly the current owner of Frank Thomas’s former Oak Brook home.
The palatial estate that was once owned by the Chicago White Sox slugger is back on the market, according to the Chicago Tribune. And if you’re interested in trying to make the 3.3 acre compound at 3312 Midwest Road, you’re going to need to pony up about $4.495 million. That’s a mark-up from the $2.71 million the mansion sold for in December 2014, the Tribune reported.
