10 New Businesses Open in Evanston in Year's Second Quarter
From hotly anticipated restaurants and a brewery to a bookstore, new businesses are detailed in the city's Q2 economic development report.

Ten new businesses opened in Evanston between April and June, according to the city’s economic development report for the second quarter of the year.
Boltwood restaurant has created the most full-time jobs, at 18, along with six part-time positions. Lyfe Kitchen created 65 part-time positions as well as five full time. Smylie Bros. Restaurant and Brewery has 30 part-time employees and 10 full-time staff.
Other new businesses are Bookends & Beginnings, Frio Gelato, Homestead Meats, Just Turkey, Marie’s Flowers, Tutti Frutti Yogurt and BTRacing. (Click on any of the links to read Patch’s coverage of the businesses.)
