15 New Businesses Opened in Evanston Since Last Fall
Between October 2012 and February 2013, the City of Evanston attracted more than a dozen new businesses.
Since last October 15 new businesses have opened in downtown Evanston, with more than half of them in the food industry. The new businesses employ a total of 112 full-time and 67 part-time workers, according to city data.
The city expects eight businesses to open in the near future, including La Macchina, Andersonville Galleria, Farmhouse, Joy Yee to Go, Forever Yogurt, Smylie Bros. Restaurant & Brewery, OSKA Company Store and Naf Naf Grill.
