Daughter of Morton's The Steakhouse founder will turn former stable into eatery.
Amy Morton, owner of Found Kitchen and Social House on Chicago Avenue, plans to turn a former stable at 1016 Church Street into a new eatery, according to a story in Evanston Now.
Planning to call the new restaurant The Barn, Morton is asking the Evanston City Council to grant her an easement to allow Church Street access to the former stable, according to Evanston Now. Her request is on tonight’s agenda.
