Billionaire Sells Evanston Lakefront Home

A Chicago billionaire made nearly a $1 million profit on a lakefront Evanston home she purchased less three years ago.

Jennifer Pritzker, who has a collection of 35 or so Chicago-area properties at a combined market value of more than $75 million sold the three-story, Tudor-style house in Evanston for $2.83 million last week, according to the Chicago Tribune and other sources. Pritzker extensively renovated the four-bedroom home with custom millwork, wall coverings and top-of-the-line appliances she bought for $1.91 million in late 2012.
