Boy, 16, Shot in Evanston
Two people ran from the scene following the shooting Saturday afternoon, witnesses said.

EVANSTON, IL — A 16-year-old boy was shot Saturday afternoon in Evanston.
The boy was hit in the chest around 4:40 p.m., near Lyons Street and Ashland Avenue, Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Witnesses told police that they saw two people fleeing the scene. The teen was taken to Evanston Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, according to reports.
