Project work involves the replacement of deteriorated water mains and water service lines, minor sewer improvements, and street patching. These water and sewer improvements are the first phase of work on the Main Street Improvements Project. The second phase of work is planned for 2022 and will include complete streetscape improvements, lighting upgrades, sidewalk and ADA ramp reconstruction, roadway rehabilitation, traffic signal upgrades, and landscaping.

The exact date construction activities are scheduled to begin will be noted on message boards posted along the corridor and on the temporary construction zone "No Parking" signs posted a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the work. Every effort will be made to complete the work in a timely manner to minimize any inconveniences caused by construction.
