CTA Holiday Train Comes To Purple Line Dec. 18, 20 And 21

The festive train will spread holiday cheer and deliver food baskets to local community organizations.

EVANSTON, IL - The Allstate CTA Holiday Train will visit Evanston on the Purple Line on December 18, 20 and 21, spreading holiday cheer and delivering food baskets to local community organizations.

On Saturday, December 21, the Allstate CTA Elves' Workshop Train will follow directly behind the CTA Holiday Train to help ensure everyone has a chance to enjoy this exciting tradition. Riders will also have the opportunity to get their photos taken with Santa at the Linden Purple Line station from 4:45 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.

The Holiday Train generally operates on the Purple Line from about 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays. Normal CTA fares apply.
