Evanston Aldermen Consider New Regulations on Newsracks
The city is looking to clean up its streetscape.

While Evanston already has an extensive set of regulations regarding newsracks, the city’s aldermen are considering new regulations on newsracks as part of the city’s effort to clean up its streetscape, Evanston Now reported.
Evanston City Manager Wally Bobkiewicz says the city “has been lax” in enforcing the rules and Alderman Melissa Wynne (3rd Ward) says newsracks “have been a problem on Chicago Avenue for years,” the newspaper reported.
