Evanston Artist Exhibits At 64th Annual Park Forest Art Fair

Park Forest Art Fair:The 64th Annual Park Forest Art Fair will be held on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 from 10 – 5 in the Village Green in downtown Park Forest. It is located between Western Avenue and Orchard Drive, and Lakewood and Indianwood Blvd. Raymond Chen of Evanston will be exhibiting in the fair.

This year, there are 23 new artists exhibiting as well as many returning artists who will be familiar to fair-goers. The artists work in a variety of media from oil, acrylic and watercolor painting, photography and printmaking to wood, glass and fiber arts.

Raymond brings his watercolor paintings to the Art Fair. He uses various technique methods such as stroking, tapping, blocking and washing to create energetic, awesome, clear paintings.

The Tall Grass Arts Association Gallery will be open on both days of the
fair. The gallery, gift shop and art fair are open to the public, free of charge. On Saturday, the Village will host a music fest. On Sunday, fest favorite, the folksingers known as Patchouli, will perform. There are food vendors and a Kids Art Alley.
