Evanston Local Business Guide: What's Open And Closed In Town
We asked local businesses to offer updates on their status during the coronavirus crisis and produced a directory of their responses.

EVANSTON, IL — The economic impact of the new coronavirus has been unprecedented. Record numbers of workers have been laid off, and many businesses have been forced to shutter under the statewide stay-at-home order aimed at slowing the spread of the virus.
Small businesses that depend on foot traffic and in-person customer interactions have been especially hard hit. Some local businesses are still offering delivery, pick-up, remote services and transactions at a distance to continue to serve the Evanston community.
Last week, we put out a call out to local businesses on Evanston Patch with a request they provide an update on their current status, offer details on how customers can continue to patronize them and to let the community know how they can best help during these challenging times.
