24/7 Wall St. has named Evanston the fifth best city in the nation in which to live, according to an article in USA Today.
The paper looked at a variety of factors in communities with populations of 65,000 or higher, including employment rates, crime, housing availability and open space.
The article points to Evanston residents’ high level of education — nearly two-thirds have at least a bachelor’s degree — and that children in school perform above average on math and language arts tests.
