Evanston Obituary: Kathleen Egelston, 83

Kathleen A. Egelston née Pierson died in Battle Creek, Michigan, on December 28, 2019 at the age of 83 from complications of Alzheimer’s disease.

Kathy is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, E. Martin Egelston; four children, Mark (Amy) Egelston, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, Marcella (Bruce) Garrett, of Deerfield, Illinois, Seth (Nancy) Egelston, of Battle Creek, Michigan, Phillip (Deanna) Egelston, of Rockville, Maryland; eight devoted grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Egelston.

A dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, Kathy treasured her family and always made holidays and family gatherings special. She deeply touched each and every one of us and will be dearly missed. Services are private.
