Evanston Police Blotter: Domestic Battery, DUI

The following information is from the Evanston Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Domestic Battery

Daniel W. Jorash, 51, of 1913 Foster, Evanston, was arrested at 2121 Dewey at 5:10 p.m. on Jan. 13 and charged with domestic battery. A Jan. 20 court date has been scheduled.

Misrak D. Destra, 49, of 138 Dodge Ave., Evanston, was arrested at 138 Dodge Ave. at 9:50 p.m. on Jan. 12 and charged with domestic battery. A Jan. 28 court date has been scheduled.

Kalkidan H. Melaku, 28, of 1609 Howard, Evanston, was arrested at 138 Dodge Ave. at 9:50 p.m. on Jan. 12 and charged with domestic battery. A Jan. 28 court date has been scheduled.

DUI

Arnell C. Middlebrook, 42, of 2700 W. Pratt, Chicago, was arrested at 2450 Main St. at 8:43 p.m. on Jan. 14 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. A Feb. 26 court date has been scheduled.

Traffic

Carlos Aranda, 22, of 1317 Brummel, Evanston, was charged with a traffic violation at 200 Asbury Ave., at 6:45 p.m. on Jan. 14. A Feb. 10 court date was scheduled.

Larry Michael Garrison Jr., 28, of 647 Dodge Ave., Evanston, was charged with a traffic violation at 2043 Darrow Ave. at 11:36 p.m. on Jan. 14. A Jan. 29 court date has been scheduled.

Cebert Richards, 70, of 349 Sherman, Evanston, was charged with a traffic violation at 535 Ridge Ave at 10:23 p.m. on Jan. 14. A March 4 court date has been scheduled.
