Evanston Rabbi Quits After His Views on Palestinians Divide Congregation
Brant Rosen, of the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation, has been outspoken about his solidarity with Palestinians.

Long-time Evanston rabbi Brant Rosen has resigned after his outspoken support of Palestinians divided his congregation, according to an article in TribLocal.
Rosen, who has been with the Jewish Reconstructionist Congregation for 16 years, has shown very public solidarity with Palestinians in their conflict with Israel, including on his blog.
He submitted his resignation Tuesday after feeling like his stance had been negatively impacting the congregation, the TribLocal article says. He will stay on while the congregation searches for a new spiritual leader.
