Evanston Residents: Increase Purple Line Service, Improve Station Conditions

Evanston residents who were surveyed recently about transportation options in the city responded with a common theme of wanting expanded Purple Line service and better CTA stations, according to an article in the Evanston Review.

Those were the most popular responses in an open-ended question on the survey, the article says. The survey also showed that just under half of respondents use their cars as their primary mode of transportation, with walking finishing second and public transportation third.
