Evanston Residents Surprised with Scholarships to WGU
Natasha Schneider and Ayush Sharma were awarded $2,500 scholarships to the nonprofit, fully online university
Evanston residents Natasha Schneider and Ayush Sharma were both recently surprised with $2,500 scholarships to Western Governors University.
Schneider received a Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, which is designed for motivated Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members with an associate degree who wish to continue their education and earn a bachelor’s degree to take their careers and lives forward. Schneider is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from WGU. She was virtually presented with the scholarship on March 18 by WGU Strategic Partnerships Manager Patrick Devanney.
Ayush Sharma received a Master Your Future Scholarship to Western Governors University, which is designed for aspiring graduate students to help make their degree even more affordable. Sharma, a business analyst for Ellianse LLC, is pursuing a Master of Science in IT Management from WGU. He was virtually presented with the scholarship on March 2 by WGU Strategic Partnerships Manager Patrick Devanney.
