Evanston Township High School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of high school in Evanston Township is August 28. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Evanston Township High School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

• 10/5: Noon Dismissal for Students (Conferences)
• 10/6: No School for Students (Staff Institute Day)
• 10/11: Half Day for Students (In-service)

November

• 11/22 - 11/24: No School (Thanksgiving Break)

December

• 12/25 - 1/5: No School (Winter Recess)

January

• 1/1 - 1/5: No School (Winter Recess)
• 1/15: No School (MLK Jr. Day)
• 1/16 - 1/19: Semester Exams

February

• 2/19: No School (Presidents' Day)
