Group Wants to Tear Down Row Houses on Central Street
Schermerhorn and Company instead wants a two-story apartment complex.
EVANSTON, IL - A set of row houses in northwest Evanston could turn into a large apartment complex if a local real estate company gets its wish.
Schermerhorn and Company has submitted a proposal looking to tear down the row houses they operate in the 3200 block of Central Street and replace them with a two-story apartment complex that will include 14 units, Evanston Now reports.
If approved, the new building will be 31 feet tall.
