Evanston police investigated a report that there was a man with a gun in the 2000 block of Dewey Avenue at 12:11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15, according to police. 

Arrests: Domestic Battery
A 53-year-old Evanston woman was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, according to police.

Car Burglaries Reported on Dobson, Hinman, Greenleaf
Someone entered an unlocked 2007 Saturn parked in an apartment lot in the 1400 block of Dobson Street and stole a Samsung charger cord between 10:50 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, and 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, according to police.

Someone broke the window of a 2005 Infiniti parked in the 800 block of Hinman Avenue between 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, and 8:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, according to police. A Kindle tablet, key fob garage opener and Rayban sunglasses were reported missing.

Someone stole a wallet from an unlocked 2006 Pontiac in the 1600 block of Greenleaf Street between 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, and 9:50 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, according to police.

Retail Theft on Howard
Two women stole something from a business in the 1100 block of Howard Street at 7:22 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, according to police.
