How Much Will it Snow in Evanston This Weekend?

EVANSTON, IL - A heavy snowfall is expected in the Chicago area this weekend and Evanston will not get a pass.
Total snow accumulations in the city are estimated to come to 5 to 7 inches, James Maiworm, the city's bureau chief of infrastructure maintenance, said Friday.
The snow is expected to begin around 5 p.m. Saturday with just flurries for a couple of hours before building into a steady stream around 8 p.m.

A steady accumulation will continue until around noon Sunday before tapering off for a few hours to light snow. It will then intensify after 2 p.m. on Sunday until midnight.
Up to 12 inches of snow is expected in some areas of Chicagoland.
