Isiah Thomas Profits on Sale of Evanston Apartment Building
Kedzie Street building switches hands for $9.4 million.
A limited liability company controlled by former Detroit Pistons basketball star Isiah Thomas scored nearly a 30 percent profit on an Evanston apartment building he owned for less than two years.
The building at 525 Kedzie St. was sold for $9.4 million on June 23. Thomas bought it for $7.3 million in October 2013.
The buyers include two officials of Chicago-based apartment brokerage Essex Realty Group.
