Kitten Extrication: Firefighters Rescue Cat From Inside Wall
The Evanston Fire Department was called into action to save a kitten stuck in a wall at the city's animal shelter.

EVANSTON, IL — Firefighters were called into action Sunday for a feline rescue operation. A kitten had found its way inside the wall of the Evanston Animal Shelter at 2310 Oakton Street, according to the Evanston Fire Department.

Firefighters extricated the small kitten from the wall by delicately breaking through the concrete cinder block using a pick-axe.
