Lakefront Evanston Home Sells After 1 Day on Market

EVANSTON, IL - It didn’t take long for a home on Evanston’s lakefront to sell for its full $3 million asking price.

A house of Edgemere Court with “one of the best private beaches” in town sold for $3 million a day after it was listed, according to a Crain’s Chicago report.

A realtor managing the sale of the property told Crain’s that when the home went on the market, buyers immediately "jumped on it that day to get that beach."

The sale marks the third Evanston lakefront property to be unloaded for more than $3 million this year.
