Mansion on Lake Michigan is Evanston's Priciest Ever
Six-bedroom stunner designed by Mayo will be the most expensive home in the city's history if asking price is met.

EVANSTON, IL - If a recently listed home on Evanston’s lakefront is sold for its asking price, it will be the priciest home real estate transaction in the city’s history.
A century-old, six-bedroom home that sits on 10,000 square feet hit the market on Tuesday for $5.3 million, according to Crain’s Chicago. Currently, the most expensive home that has ever changed hands was a Sheridan Road mansion that went for $4.5 million in 2004.
