Modern Homes To Replace Vacant Ones on Leonard Avenue

Each of the new coach structures are priced at less than $1.5 million.

Three coach houses are going up on Leonard Avenue in northeast Evanston and each will be priced at $1.425 million.

Each home will take up 5,000 square-feet and offer “an open floor plan with gray tones, a floating staircase, and varied ceiling heights,” according to a Chicago Magazine article. “Because the houses are built on a slope, the main floor is lofted several feet above ground, which makes them seem taller than their two stories.”

The structures are replacing a large house and two service homes that had been vacant for three decades before they were recently demolished.
