Offenders Use Pistol in Home Invasion
A man was held at gunpoint outside his apartment in the 1700 block of Monroe Street on Feb. 27. One offender held the resident at gunpoint while his accomplice looted the unit.

Police responded to a home invasion in the 1700 block of Monroe Street on Feb. 27 around 2:45 p.m. According to the report, two offenders pushed a man into his apartment while one held him at gunpoint. The second person went inside the unit and stole an HDTV and a bottle of prescription pills, police stated.
The suspects were described as two black males, both about 5-foot-10 and a 180-pounds, police said. At this time no further information is available. If new details come in, Patch will update.
