Pickpocket Takes Wallet at Dempster CTA Station
A pickpocket stole a brown leather wallet and its contents at the CTA station in the 1300 block of Sherman Place at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, according to police.
Arrests: Criminal Sexual Abuse, Domestic Battery
Mokeno Lewis, 29, of the 700 block of Brummel Street in Evanston, was arrested and charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Evanston police station, according to police.
A 41-year-old Evanston man was arrested and charged with domestic battery at 10:35 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, police reported.
Car Burglars Steal Breathalyzer, Radar Detector, Security Camera
Someone stole a breath alcohol ignition interlock device from a 2008 Jeep parked in the 1100 block of Austin Street between 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, and 9:01 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, according to police.
Someone broke the right front window of a 2011 Ford parked in the 800 block of Judson Avenue and stole an Escort radar detector between 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22, and 6:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, police reported.
