Rap/Reggae Sensation Matisyahu Performing in Skokie
Known by his Hebrew name "Matisyahu," the rap/reggae star is set to perform at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts this February.
Musician Matisyahu has combined Jewish themes with rap and reggae music to great success since the release of his song 'King Without a Crown,' which became a top 40 hit in 2005.
Now, the artist also known as Matthew Paul Miller will be performing live at the North Shore Center for Performing Arts (NSCPA) on Feb. 6. Titled An Acoustic Evening with Matisyahu, the event will give "fans an intimate and personal experience showcasing the simple and profound statement of Matisyahu's music and lyrics," according to the NSCPA website.
Tickets range from $35 to $150 VIP seats. The VIP tickets will include seating in the first three rows and an artist meet and greet, according to the NSCPA.
