Reported Gunfire Closes Dodge Avenue In Both Directions: Police

Evanston police said there were no known injuries from the incident.

EVANSTON, IL — Police closed Dodge Avenue to traffic in both directions Wednesday evening for an investigation after a report of gunfire in the area. Evanston police said around 8:30 p.m. officers had shut the road to traffic during the investigation of a shots fired report. Police said no one was reported as injured.

Dodge Avenue was reopened shortly before 9 p.m., police said.
