Residents Can Tour Evanston's Water Treatment Facility Oct. 10
Participants must register by Oct. 7.

Community members are invited to tour the Evanston Water Treatment Facility Saturday, Oct. 10, at 555 Lincoln St.
The City of Evanston’s Department of Utilities will provide two tours on a first-come, first-served basis. The first tour will be given from 9 to 10:30 a.m. for residents 15 years and older. A second “child friendly” tour will follow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for residents with children age 6 years or older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All adults are required to provide photo identification upon arrival.

Water facility tours are limited to the first 30 people that sign up for each group, and all must be Evanston residents.
To register, call 847-448-8198 or email water@cityofevanston.org by Wednesday, Oct. 7. All participants must provide their name, address, phone number and the names of all the individuals who will be attending in their group. Walk-in registration will not be available.

Parking will be available at the Water Treatment Facility via the driveway located on the north side of Lincoln St., between the two buildings. Please arrive at the facility 20 minutes before the tour start time, as admittance to the facility will not be permitted once the tours have started.
