Robber Kicks Victim In Head, Demands Money

A man knocked his victim to the ground, kicked him in the head and demanded his money at 3:35 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in the 1700 block of Chicago Avenue, according to police.

Arrests: DUI, Battery

Liliana L. Ramirez, 36, of the 1300 block of Oakton in Evanston, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence at 2:21 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, according to police.

Thomas Triggs, 76, of the 2100 block of Sherman Avenue in Evanston, was arrested and charged with battery at 4:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, police reported.

Mercedes Benz Stolen On Brown

Someone stole a four-door, beige 1992 Mercedes Benz with the license plate N788749 from the 1700 block of Brown Avenue at 7:04 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, police reported.

Cigarettes, Wallet Stolen From Cars

Someone stole a box of cigarettes from a 2006 Acura left unlocked in the 2400 block of Main Street between 6 and 6:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, police reported.

Someone stole a wallet from an unlocked car parked in an alley in the 600 block of Judson between 2:15 and 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, according to police.

Bike Stolen On Howard, Dempster

Someone stole two bicycles that were locked up in an apartment or condo common area in the 1400 block of Howard Street between 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 25, and 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, according to police.

Someone stole a gray and brown Magna bicycle that was locked up in the 900 block of Dempster Street at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, police reported.

A man stole headphones from a chain business in the 1900 block of Dempster Street at 7:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28, police reported.
