Evanston Storm: Microburst Tears Off Piece Of Hospital Roof
Part of the parking garage roof at NorthShore Evanston Hospital was blown off by Wednesday's thunderstorm.

EVANSTON, IL — No one was hurt as severe weather tore off part of the roof of a parking structure at NorthShore Evanston Hospital Wednesday. Hospital officials say minor flooding has been managed and contained, and all operations are functioning as normal.
A mangled piece of metal was pictured lying in the hospital's driveway in the evening.
The damage occurred in a non-patient part of the hospital, according to a statement from the hospital's director of public relations.
