Valli Produce Hopes to Open Next Summer, Complete Purchase of Evanston Plaza this Month

Valli Produce is hoping to open its new Evanston store in June 2015 and complete its purchase of the full Evanston Plaza shopping center at Dempster and Dodge later this month, according to an article in Evanston Now.

Valli, which is based in Arlington Heights, plans to open a roughly 70,000-square-foot store that will replace the 58,000-square-foot shuttered Dominick’s, as well as some additional adjacent space.

The Evanston Now article has renderings that Valli showed to the Evanston City Council this week.
