Wow House! A Frank Lloyd Wright-Designed Home in Beverly

This Chicago landmark is listed at $649,000 and is fully restored.

Within a week of going on the market, the Frank Lloyd Wright house at 10541 S. Hoyne Ave. in Beverly has dropped in price. Fully restored over eight years by John and Martie Brennan, the four-bedroom home with two and a half bathrooms, a finished basement and eat-in kitchen with stainless-steel appliances originally listed for $749,900. Built in the early 20th century and designated a Chicago landmark in 1994, the place is now priced at $649,900, reports Curbed Chicago, noting that the initial $749,900 price made the property the third priciest in the neighborhood. An entire subdivision of Frank Lloyd Wright homes was to be built in Beverly, but World War I derailed those plans.
