Driver and Two Sheriff's Deputies Injured in I-290 Crash

The crash took place Thursday night near Forest Park.

Forest Park, IL - Three people, including two Cook County sheriff's deputies, were injured in a Thursday night three-car crash on the Eisenhower Expressway near Forest Park.

A sheriff's office spokesperson confirmed one of its vehicles was involved in the crash around 10:15 p.m. on eastbound Interstate 290 near Harlem Avenue.

Two Sheriff’s Office Electronic Monitoring investigators in the vehicle were treated at Loyola Hospital. Their injuries were not life threatening, the spokesperson said in an email.

The driver of another car was also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, according to the Chicago Tribune.
