At Everett Wealth Solutions, Clients Realign With Their Dreams

Everett Wealth Solutions offers clients a personalized approach to evaluate their finances and to dream again.

Chris Everett knows what it is like to experience financial devastation.

“About 25 years ago, my husband and I lost everything in our lives that had a dollar sign attached to it,” she recalled.

That experience makes her better versed to serve as a sounding board and compass for her financial clients.

“I love to put my head in someone’s business and focus,” she said.

For Everett, financial health is not limited to actual finances. Financial health is a combination of knowing one’s self, understanding one’s dreams and goals and putting a realistic plan in place that represents their authenticity.

“When you do the right thing, it always works, it just does,” Everett said confidently. “Trusting that it’s going to work is very important.”

In addition to her own experiences that shaped how she approaches wealth, Everett is also a healer and she has incorporated that into her business, developing wealth programs that not only consider money, but also heal the human spirit.

“I’ve always known I was a healer,” she admits. “I was going to be a doctor.”

Today, she channels her healing into two things. First, she helps her clients to discover what is going on that is underneath their relationship with money. She has designed two programs that help her clients work towards their financial goals. Second, she has developed a family coaching program after benefiting from it herself. It is one of the many ways in which she gives back to the community.

Her first program - Your Personal Wealth Solution - gives clients a 4-step approach to their financial lives. It begins by discovering what the client is presently doing and understanding what is possible.

“People get into trouble because they buy into “cookie-cutter” thinking and act on common knowledge,” Everett states. “This is information and ideas commonly held, but not necessarily right for their personal situation. We call this The Common Knowledge Trap. When you fall into this trap, you are likely to “leak” a lot of money, have unknown risk and therefore not enjoy your life to the fullest.”

In Your Personal Wealth Solution, clients discover what is already going on with their money, consider what would happen if they made some changes and understand what is possible. Once clients have worked with Everett to complete the first three steps, she stands as an implementation partner with them as they put their dreams in motion.

Her second program - Your Identity Alignment SolutionTM - takes financial planning to a much higher level.

“We’ve learned that some people have put their dreams on a shelf and labeled them unattainable,” Everett explained. “However, by creating a plan that is aligned with who they truly are, with understanding about the relationship they’ve had to and with money, those dreams become viable. Your Identity Alignment Solution helps you identify false thinking that limits break through to a more fulfilling and enjoyable life.”

The programs have been so successful that Everett has clients that have been with the firm for several decades.

“My oldest client is 96,” she said, noting that person has been a client for about 20 years.
She also has an 82-year-old client who has been with her for 28 years. Although she is based in Illinois, she works with clients in many states.

As a coach, Everett was introduced to Family Coaching, which originated in Lubbock, Texas in 2000.

“Our mission is to reconnect family members through intensive coaching sessions,” the Family Coaching website states. “By working together with every family member, families heal the pain that causes distance in relationships. Our coaches compassionately help family members build strong family teams.”

Everett is most proud that the coaching she has done with families has helped to heal multiple generations.

“The coaching that I taught the family, they were able to teach their own children,” Everett recalls fondly.

In her time as a financial professional as well as a coach, Everett has learned that while there are a lot of emotions attached to money or the lack of it, possession of money does not necessarily equal emotional well-being.

“Just because you have money doesn’t mean you don’t have holes in your heart,” she said.
