Forest Park Middle School Unveils New Media Lab
The public is invited to attend the grand opening this Thursday.

Forest Park Middle School recently remodeled its Library Media Center this fall, just in time for the open house this Thursday evening.
After a yearlong effort by school administrators and staff, the center includes updated furniture, book shelves, workstations for computers and several electronic charging stations were added to the communal space.
District 91 spent a total of $79,136.50 on new furniture, shelving units, paint and carpeting according to Rebecca Latham, a district spokesperson in the story by the Forest Park Review.

"I had been trying to rebrand the space. The idea of a library is great but it should be more than just books," said Richard Hearn, the library media specialist, in the story.
