Man Charged After Forcing Girls to Undress: Prosecutor

A man accused of forcing his ex-girlfriend’s daughter and her friend to strip and perform sex acts with each other for his own gratification, prosecutors said in court on Thursday.

Angel Santana, 46, appeared for a bond hearing in front of Cook County Judge Peter Felice on two felony criminal sex abuse charges.

Prosecutors said that Santana had both girls undress and touch each in a Stickney residence during a two month period in February and March 2014. Both girls were 16 at the time.

Santana also allegedly undressed and fondled the girls during their encounters. It was after he pled guilty to a domestic battery charge on July 28 that his ex-girlfriend’s daughter told her mother about the abuse, prosecutors said.

He also abused the girls in Berwyn, according to the charges. Santana was arrested on August 9.

Santana appeared Tuesday at the Maywood courthouse, where he appeared on charges of aggravated criminal sex abuse and criminal sex assault to a family member. Bail was set at $500,000 for both charges.

Judge Felice set bail for the new charges at $75,000. Santana is due back in Bridgeview on Sept. 3.
