McAdam Pumpkin Party Engages & Entertains Families
Forest Park-based Nursery & Garden Center is open until at least the end of October, and as far into November as the weather permits
Hayrides, painted faces and pumpkins, a spooky story-time amid bales of hay, and sweet treats—these were some of the features of the annual McAdam Pumpkin Party on Saturday, October 24th.
Held at the McAdam Nursery & Garden Center, 2001 Des Plaines Ave. in Forest Park, the event also offered significant discounts on perennials, rhododendrons, azaleas, select evergreens and roses, among other items. McAdam professionals were also on hand to give tips on how to winterize your garden and so families can learn what they can still plant.
The Nursery & Garden Center is open until at least the end of October, and as far into November as the weather permits. Located about a half-mile south of Roosevelt Road, on Forest Park’s southern edge, the center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9-5 on Saturday, and 10-3 on Sunday.
