McFun for Garfield Grant-White McTeacher's
Northside PTC held a McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Forest Park McDonald's
On Wednesday, May 27th, the Northside PTC held a McTeacher’s Night Fundraiser at the McDonald’s in Forest Park. Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money for the school. The McTeachers worked the drive-thru, greeted families, cleaned the lobby, worked the front counter, served drinks, cleared tables and served ice cream. There were even teachers singing for tips! The support from the Garfield Grant-White staff was astounding. In addition to the teachers, the PTC members all came to the event in their Northside PTC shirts and worked very hard as well. Garfield Grant-White McTeachers had it all covered, and the families all had a great time. The school plans to use the money raised to go into the PTC fund to support future programming. The families were honored to have Mayor Calderone in attendance as well as Commissioner Novak. Lots of students, teachers, families and friends came out to support the school. All the kids came to see their teachers work at the Forest Park McDonald’s. A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made this a very memorable evening. A special thank you goes to PTC Vice President, Sue Harvey, who organized the entire event. It was a great night! McTeacher’s Night was courtesy of the Forest Park McDonald’s owner/operator, Jan Nelson.
