Pepper Spray Injures Several in Forest Park Wal-Mart
The store was evacuated and several people were hospitalized.

FOREST PARK, IL — Several people were hospitalized late Sunday night after pepper spray was released inside Wal-Mart in Forest Park.
Emergency personnel were called to the store Sunday before midnight at 1300 Des Plaines Ave. for reports of a large pepper spray incident with multiple victims.
Someone reportedly left a set of keys with pepper spray attached unattended inside the store, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, and when the owner of the keys went to retrieve them, the pepper spray had been removed.

Employees told the Sun-Times someone sprayed the pepper spray through the whole store, and the building was evacuated. Several workers were hospitalized with unknown conditions, and others were treated at the scene.
Police don't yet know if the incident was a mistake or if it was intentional, NBC Chicago reports.
