Third Grader Wins District 91 Logo Design Contest

A third grade student at Grant-White Elementary School in Forest Park won a competition to design the next logo for District 91.

FOREST PARK, IL -- A third grader's logo design will be used by Forest Park School District 91 as its new logo. Nialiah, a third grader at Grant-White Elementary School, was voted as having the best logo among all submissions in a district contest that involved students at all three of its schools: Grant-White, Garfield Elementary School and Forest Park Middle School.

Niahliah's design includes the words "Forest Park School District" in a curving pattern at top, with the number "91" at the bottom and a group of hands in the center.

Students submitted design inspiration ideas from Oct. 18 through Nov. 21, with one design selected as part of the top three from each school. A second grader named Giovanni from Garfield and a seventh grader from FPMS were other finalists in the competition.
