The video shows the Maywood native being ridiculed and tased after a parking violation.

MAYWOOD, IL — Milwaukee Bucks player and Maywood native Sterling Brown was thrown to the ground and tased by police officers after a parking violation, an officer's body cam video shows.
The footage shows the January 26 confrontation shows Brown's vehicle parked illegally across two handicap parking spots in front of a Walgreens in Milwaukee around 2 a.m. You can hear the first officer tell Brown to back up and then accuse Brown of "getting up in [his] face."
Minutes later, additional officers arrive for backup. Ultimately, eight police officers surround Brown and by eight minutes into the video, multiple officers are putting Brown onto the ground.

One officer yells, "Taser, taser, taser" and Brown is tased. He can be heard making grunts that seem to indicate he is in pain, according to the body camera footage.
Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett told the Journal Sentinel that the footage was "disturbing." He said he was unsure what action police would take but called some parts of the video "disconcerting."

In light of the incident, Brown intends to file a civil lawsuit, he said in a public statement.
Brown said, "Black men shouldn't have to have their guard up and instantly be on the defensive when seeing a police officer, but it's our reality and a real problem. There must be mutual respect and both sides have to figure out how to accomplish this."
Brown, 23, who attended Southern Baptist University, has played for the Milwaukee Bucks since 2017.
