5 Things to Do in Frankfort this Week

Coming up this week:

• A string concert will be held at Summit Hill Junior High School at 7 p.m. Monday.

• The Frankfort Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the Frankfort Administration Building at 432 W. Nebraska St.

• A Spring Wine Tasting sponsored by Wine Styles will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at the Founders Community Center for ages 21 and older. Pre-registration is required. Cost is $15. The fee includes wine tasting, hors d’oeuvres and a souvenir wine glass.

• The Frankfort Library presents the program "The Rest of Your Life: Financial Planning Considerations for Retirement" at 10 a.m. Saturday. Do you have enough money to retire? Will your money last a lifetime? The speaker will be Baird financial adviser Graham Craig. Registration is required for this free program.

• The Frankfort Country Market will be held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Kansas and Oak Streets in downtown Frankfort. Enjoy a variety of fresh produce, prepared foods, plants and specialty products locally grown. Special events and demos throughout the season.
