62-Year-Old Shot Saturday Released From Hospital: Frankfort PD

Police said they had no further update when asked what happened during the incident.

FRANKFORT, IL — A 62-year-old man was shot on Saturday in the 7100 block of Stuenkel Road, Frankfort Police Deputy Chief Kevin Keegan told Patch. The man has since been treated and released from the hospital, police said.

Details are scarce on the incident, which Frankfort Police sent out a community alert about on Saturday. Police responded at 8:20 a.m. Saturday in response to a gunshot victim, according to the alert.

Police said they had no further update when asked what happened during the incident.

Keegan said the Will-Grundy Major Crimes Task Force is assisting Frankfort Police Department with the investigation, and the investigation is still active.
