Aqua Lounge Liquor License Suspended For 30 Days
Aqua Lounge and Fire House Pub also received a $1,500 fine for the liquor control and noise ordinance violations.
FRANKFORT, IL — Aqua Lounge and Fire House Pub in Frankfort has had its liquor licenses suspended for 30 days, after a public hearing with the Will County Liquor Commission.
According to decision documents, a 7-count complaint was filed on March 19 alleging various violations of the county's liquor control ordinance. The complaints were filed against GAD Corporate Enterprises, Inc, which holds the liquor license for both Aqua Lounge and Fire House Pub, at 7900 and 7905 W. Lincoln Highway, in Frankfort.

Loud music complaints from July 2020, and a complaint of entertainment on the patio when the establishment did not have a special events license.
An August 2020 "altercation" in the back parking lot of the business, involving a man who tried to run over two women with his car before driving off.

An August 2020 complaint for loud music, as well as a DJ playing music without a special events license.
An October 2020 complaint of loud music. Deputies could hear music one block west of the establishment as they approached, according to the decision documents.
A November 2020 complain of loud music, yelling and tires screeching. Deputies saw 50 cars in the parking lot and street, with people playing music loudly from their car, dancing on roofs of cars, and screaming. Security was unable to stop the behavior for 25 minutes, according to the decision documents.
A February 2021 complaint of a domestic battery, the pepper spraying of a man, and a fight involving several people.
A March 2021 complaint of an argument in the parking lot. Deputies responded three times in one night to disperse arguments in the parking lot and disturbances in the establishment.
"As a result of the repeated disorderly conduct, the safety of the patrons, employees and general public has repeatedly been jeopardized, and therefore, licensee is in violation of the liquor control ordinance and noise ordinance," decision documents state.
In addition to the 30-day suspension, Deputy Liquor Commissioner and Chief Legal Counsel Marron Mahoney told Patch the establishment also received a $1,500 fine.
The suspension will last through May 2, according to decision documents.
