FRANKFORT, IL — A Frankfort bank was robbed Monday by a man brandishing a handgun, police said.
Old Plank Trail Bank, 20901 S. LaGrange Rd., was robbed shortly after 5 p.m. The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-8, wearing a face mask, aviator sunglasses, and a black sweatshirt.
The offender fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash and police were unable to locate him.
