Baseball Player From Frankfort Team Chosen As Junior All-American
Ian and his family will head to Florida right after Thanksgiving for him to compete in the Junior All-American tournament.

FRANKFORT, IL — An 11-year-old baseball player from Monee has been chosen as a Junior All-American Game Day USA player. Ian Tosi plays for the Frankfort Force travel baseball team as a left-handed pitcher and first baseman.
Ian's dad, Joel, said the Frankfort team plays in about nine tournaments a year, one or two of which are sponsored by Game Day USA. During those tournaments, an MVP is chosen each game for each team. Those MVPs are then invited to play in a local all-star tournament, and a few players from that tournament are chosen for the Junior All-American tournament or for the Disney New Year's Baseball Classic.
This isn't the first time Ian will head to the Junior All-American tournament. Joel said Ian went last year as well, and his team won the tournament, which was held in Fort Myers, Florida.

Ian and his family will head to Florida once again right after Thanksgiving for him to compete in the tournament, which will be held Nov. 29 to Dec. 1 at the Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training facility in Bradenton.
"Ian's Frankfort team are all great players and just a great team all together," Joel said. "Though he is playing in Florida, they all support each other and I expect they all will be in Disney or Junior All-American soon."
