FRANKFORT, IL — Hot summer temperatures are returning to Frankfort and the south suburbs. As the mercury rises, it's important to stay safe in the heat.

The following facilities have been designated as cooling centers for residents to use. Hours vary depending on the center, and individuals are reminded to call ahead before going to a specific facility. Some cooling centers are only open by request.
